Fun and adventure guaranteed! Families, young people and children (from four years of age) experience unforgettable moments in the Altenmarkt adventure forest. On the three climbing courses for young and old, you will get to know the forest from a different perspective. For those looking for an extra adrenaline kick, the adventure forest offers three zip line courses at different heights. The staged nature experiences lead along the wild and romantic Zauchbach. Sufficient parking spaces are available at the Hochbifang valley station.

The ropes course is built and certified according to EN 15567. The trainers are trained according to EN 15567-1 and DIN SPEC 31060.
We work with our own COVID-19 prevention concept and according to the two standards "rope courses in times of the COVID-19 crisis" and "framework concept for corona protection measures for staff and guests in connection with the reopening of climbing parks in Austria" by two court-sworn experts .
Three courses are available for children from the age of four. Up to 18 years, the presence of an adult is required.
The adventure forest in Altenmarkt is a self-securing park. You will receive training in belaying techniques and then climb independently and on your own responsibility. If you need help there is a trainer on site.
No. However, children and young people up to the age of 14 must be actively (climbing) accompanied.
This is a steel rope that you descend hanging by means of a pulley. The feeling is like flying.
Closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing are enough to climb with us. Long hair should be tied into a ponytail.
Yes. However, dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. Dogs are not allowed on the course.
Yes, we have a small cabin with toilets. You can ask for the key when the climbing harnesses are handed out. There is also an inn not far from us, the "Jägerhäusel", which can be reached on foot in 10 minutes.
