FIS World Cup in Zauchensee
Zauchensee has been hosting top ski events for over 30 years!
FIS World Cup in Zauchensee: The „Kälberloch“ World Cup track starts very steeply with a 150 m of 72 % gradient flowing into its snow-sure, challenging stretches which are ideal for alpine competitions. The icing on the cake is the excellent infrastructure and the professional team behind it. The first World Cup race was held here in 1980. Since then Zauchensee has hosted a World or Europa Cup nearly every year. The highlight was the World Cup finals in 2002 which was held in conjunction with Flachau. The next Ladies World Cup is in 2013.
This professional competence has been put to good use in the Koglealm training centre with its three tracks, that everyone can use.
