The Gertraudi Fair (17th March 2012) is one of the largest and most colourful markets in Salzburgerland. Gertraud is the patron of the travellers and so this traditional gathering is always held on her saint's day and brings together the sale of horses, livestock as well as traditional market stalls. In the olden days this market was open exclusively to adults, all children had to stay at home. This is clearly stated in the chronicles. Along the high street you'll find stall after stall selling everything from shoes and clothing, food, antiques to toys.
