Nordic walking is a pleasure at every level! There are 7 circular routes all together with various difficulty levels (2 easy, 1 intermediate, 4 difficult) which have been scientifically graded. Choose from gentle routes in and around Altenmarkt from 842 m up to 1,125 m to high-level paths in Zauchensee from 1,300 m to 1,750 m with amazing views.
Certified Nordic walking instructors from Mountain Sport & Fun are on hand to help. Nordic walking equipment can be bought or rented from Intersport Schneider, Bergsport Pichler and Sport 2000 Weitgasser in Altenmarkt.
Quality certified Nordic walking accommodation carry a special logo. There are Nordic walking-friendly and specialist Nordic walking accommodation. Both must fulfill specialist service requirements and guaranteed criteria as well as offering Nordic walking packages.
